RCReverbRiver City Reverb was formed in June 2012. They all met at North Iowa Area Community College where they participated in NIACC Singers and sang with the River City Chorus on Monday nights. In August 2012, the quartet competed at the Iowa State Fair in the Bill Riley Talent Show finishing 6th overall. In their first quartet contest in Fall 2012, River City Reverb placed 16th overall and won the “Super Novice” award. The guys climbed up the ranks in the Fall 2013 quartet contest to finish 11th overall to become the mic-testers. River City Reverb’s most recent contest took place in Spring 2014 in which they finished 3rd place in the collegiate quartet contest and 5th place in the “big boy” quartet contest.

Jeff Arians (Tenor, Ames) is an Iowa State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is an auditor by day and a barbershop multitrack creator at night. Choruses from Iowa, Pennsylvania, Nebraska, Illinois, and Tennessee have used a “TracksInAJeffy” learning track. The Barbershop Harmony Society has even used his tracks for “Amazing Grace.” Jeff has sang with the River City Chorus for 8 years.

Tyler VanDyke (Lead, Iowa Falls) graduated from NIACC. He has a job at Red Oak Custom Woodworking in Iowa Falls building houses and custom cabinets and trim. Tyler has been an active member in the chorus for 6 years.

Kevin Currier (Bass, Ames) is currently working in Marshalltown continuing his retail management adventure. He drives to Menards each day, where he manages the Hardware and Garden center departments. He has been a member of the chorus for 9 years.

Dan Bodtke (Baritone, Kansas City) is an Iowa State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems. He currently works at Continental Disc Corporation in Liberty, MO as a Business Systems Analyst. Dan has been a member of the River City Chorus for 6 years.
