Journeymen
After the first few notes, you'll know that JOURNEYMEN absolutely loves to sing for you.
Harry, Paul, Jerry, and Mike create thrilling harmonies with the most versatile and powerful
instrument -- the human voice.
JOURNEYMEN programs feature Broadway, patriotic, and gospel selections. Every JOURNEYMEN performance
is a winning mix of musical treats and comedy that keeps their audiences asking for more.
Quality - A competitive quartet, Journeymen achieved 3rd place status in recent "Top Ten" competition
featuring the top 30 foursomes from the Central States District
of the Barbershop Harmony Society.
Quantity - Formed in July 2004, each member has previous quartet experience. Between all four, there's over
80 years of harmony experience. Entertainment by JOURNEYMEN is the perfect compliment for corporate events, performing
art series, community concerts, fairs, festivals, and more!
Journeymen features Tenor Harold Arians, an elementary vocal teacher by day, quartet superstar in the limelight.
Harry, wife Lisa, sons Christopher, Jeff, and daughter Lainey have been in the barbershop family for 20 years.
Lead Mike Hanson sings even while he's farming. With wife Beth, son TJ and daughter Hannah, Mike's been
"quartetting" for 9 of his ten years in barbershop.
Baritone Paul Krull coaches people on their financial goals for a living but sings to stay alive. Paul and
Cynthia are parents of Kayla, John, and Tara. Paul is an assistant direct for the River City Chorus with 18 years
of barbershop.
Jerry Hammes is the foundation of the quartet's sound with his mellow bass voice and rich barbershop history.
Jerry says he's a retired pharmacist; his work schedule makes us wonder. Jerry and his wife Peg glory in their
grandchildren and will certainly share some stories when you contact them. He has sung with at least four registered
quartets and serves as the quartet contact man.
He can be reached by phone at 712-336-2935 or by using our Contact Form.
