The River City Chorus supports the Barbershop Society-wide charity, The Harmony Foundation,
which is dedicated to improving the quality and availability of vocal music education in
our schools. Our talent comes directly from the men who come from our many quality music
programs in our schools. However, with the recent economic hardships that many schools are
experiencing, fine arts studies are often the ones that are the first to have their budgets
and resources cut in an effort to curtail spending.
To this end, the River City Chorus donates monetary funds each year to helping our area schools
and their music programs. We also provide an experience through the Young Men in Harmony
program for our male youth to experience a weekend of education, fellowship, and exposure to
male group singing and the barbershop style.
